গুলশান-বনানী সার্বজনীন পূজা ফাউন্ডেশন (GBSPF) held its 10th Annual General Meeting on 15 May 2026 at Gulshan Club, Dhaka.
The meeting saw the election of a new Executive Council for the 2026-2028 term:
President: Shri Alak Saha
General Secretary: Shri Binoy Gopal Roy
Treasurer: Shri Apurba Kumar Saha
The incoming President and General Secretary thanked all members for their trust and committed to working together toward the transformation of the Foundation, with a focus on strategic initiatives that serve our community and contribute to the growth of our country.
The evening was graced by A. B. M. Abdus Satta, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, who reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to ensuring that every member of the Hindu community in Bangladesh lives with peace, dignity and happiness. Also present were Shri Bijon Kanti Sarkar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Minority Affairs; Shri Tapan Chandra Muzumder, Vice Chairman of the Hindu Religious Welfare Trust; Shri Jayanta Kumar Deb, President of the Mahanagar Sarbojanin Puja Committee; and Shri Basudev Dhar, President of the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad.
The programme included a recitation from the Holy Gita, addresses by distinguished guests, and a cultural programme.
We congratulate the newly elected Executive Council and look forward to a year of community service and meaningful work together.
